First-ever male cheerleaders in NFL history describe lengthy LA Rams auditions

For the first time in NFL history, the Los Angeles Rams announced that two men would join its cheerleading squad.

Quinton Peron and Napolean Jinnies will step out on the field this season, cheering and dancing alongside the previously all-female team.

"I thought, 'Why not me? Why can't I do this?' And called my friend and I asked her when auditions were for the Rams and she told me Sunday [March 11] and I showed up," Peron said in an interview on "Good Morning America."

The two men and California natives were among the 76 finalists who auditioned for the Rams cheer team and told "GMA" they were elated to make the squad, especially after the lengthy audition process.

"They were unlike anything I've ever been to. I'm used to getting a call after or an email," Jinnies said, referring to other auditions. "This one was about three weeks long and we had a bunch of rehearsals in between and an extensive interview process, but it was really humbling and amazing to be invited every time you came back."

Even if they do not make the cut, if the NFL wanted diversity in their crew, they will find ways to qualify people. 

In other news, a former cheerleader is suing the NFL for gender discrimination saying that the league forbids them to talk to ball players but ok for ballers to talk to them. 

Cheerleader only makes min wages and their clock starts on game day.  I think they are doing it for other pay like sponsorship and side gigs like autograph day or convention stuff. 

What if them kaydoo males do not make the cut?  Sue them for gender discrimination and cry foul play.  Dam if they don't and dam if they do.

theking is all for it, because he likes to see men in colorful mini skirts and pom-poms...he is hoping to catch a glimpse of their balls! 

i would say half of the rams' fans are there to watch the cheer leaders...if they make the cut, you can bet they will lose 1/2 of those attendees. 

to avoid a discrimination law suit, make the outfits be all mini skirts and high heels.  if a man is willing to dress in those, he's worthy of being theking's cheerleader!
