Invitation received months ahead unlike many of the shotgun traditional Hmong weddings I've attended.. ;D:

Arrival:

Nice set up:

Open bar is a very nice touch for the guests O0:

It's pretty much a cowboy knot but good to see the diversity among the guests and relatives  O0:

Black man/Asian woman couple:

Asian man/White woman couple:

Black man/White woman couple:

Having hors d'oeuvres for the guests is always a nice touch IMO O0:

Time for some hors d'oeuvres:

My wife said the Chinese character says, "Double Happiness"  8):

Dinner time:

First dance:

Father/Daughter dance:

Yep, Asian girl's gotta do a selfie as we cheered the couple on... ;D:

Men vs. Women during the passing of the torch toss... Looks like none of the eligible guys want to tie the knot anytime soon based on their body language...;D:

VERSUS

Cake time:

Dance room:

Closing time as we danced the night away:

Very nice wedding overall!!!

While I have not gone to many white folks wedding, my Wis cousin had his when he wed his white woman.

I was not impressed with the event.  The food menu was either chicken or fish.

I'm more used to the Viet, Chinese reception with the 7 course meal.

Maybe the movie wedding Crasher jaded my views.

Only "7" course meal? ???

The Chinese and Vietnamese weddings I've attended are all 9-10 as many still like to brag or show off how much wealth they have...like in the old days...
