The rims I bought from the Nigerian guy recently already had tires on but it's close to the point of replacement when I checked with my tire tread gauge so due to safety factors, I replace it because I don't want to be like those discourteous idiots out there that don't care about their safety or others sharing the same roads' safety by continue to drive with worn out tires. I Know someone that has a shop so I got the tires at shop prices (50% off compared to the price at Walmart) and used his tools to mount and balance it. Pretty much just cost me time and a little bit of money relatively speaking so great deal overall IMO..






Removed the chrome wheels before installing the alloy ones with new tires:










Torque the lugnuts to specs and it's done:




Looks good and it's lighter than the chrome wheels  :

I had a little delay during the installation process when the batteries in my torque wrench ran out but not too bad, just replace it and good as new  :

Thanks. Bought a set of tire and wheel package from Tire Rack years ago for my Scion and it wasn't too bad. It came mounted and balanced so I just bolt it on my Scion. Free shipping..

And if you don't want to touch it, they can also ship it to one of their contracted installers within their network that's near you..Such as Firestone, Pep Boys, etc.
