Yes and the security guards did nothing to help, just close the door.  I'm guessing the rise in Asian Anti-hate may come from the rhetoric of the last 4 years, COVID-19 from China, and the George Floyd death, one of the defendant is Asian.  Right now the trial is on-going and depending on the verdict, never know. 

For the first time in my life, I pay more attention to my surroundings now.

I don't think it'll ever go away but if oppressed people come together, we can all force change to bring equity to all, black, brown, yellow, etc.. But from what i'm seeing, we're still divided, attacking one another and bringing more divisions with these attacks.
