My wife knows I've been giving my staff at work treats from time to time as a way of showing my appreciation so she said, why not include words of appreciation on those treats as well. So the last time I got them some treats, I included some words in the form of labels with it and that seemed to go well based on the feedback I've received from my crew. They show up, do their jobs to the best of their ability so gotta let them know how much I appreciate them for what they do O0:

Your team is small so easy to manage.  We are about 700 employees deep, spreading out in 12 buildings so when we have a function like that, them crooks would come out.  Like the last one where KFC donated us lunch in boxes.  I took mine and an absentee co worker and placed it in the fridge.  No name on them which I should have but even those people would swipe them.  They don't just grab one box, they grabbed a few to take home for their kids too.

So the words of wisdom displayed is take only one and come back in a few hours to see leftovers and those you may harvest at will.

I do that too by inviting them to my place for BBQ. It's more convenient at work though as some can't make it during the weekend and I totally get it since we all have our own lives.. 8)

True, I only manage 10 staff at most and I like it that way. I've been asked a few times over the years to move up for more money but that also means more responsibiliti es (more hours, more folks to manage, etc) so I'm good where I'm at.  O0
