One job before gotten a turkey for thanksgiving.  It was when the price of turkey was 29 cents a pound so it wasn't that much of a value.

Another job gotten a whole apple pie that feeds 8 people.

No kidding... I gave mine to a co-worker because that gift card is only valid at a certain grocery and I don't live in that town.
We don't get bonuses until after the new year. Last year, they took away our raises (because of uncertainty with the covid pandemic) but gave us a $5000 bonus by Nov. of that year - which benefit the company and not us. We lose in the long run...

manufacturers are not trash.  You are working with products and them products do have them bill of laden or some form of contact information from the manufacturers that supply the goods.  You take that info down and on the down low, you hit them up and say you want to buy their product at whole sale pricing.  You take that good and you flip it to your competitors for the win. 

Unless you sign a doc that says otherwise, you should do that on the side as a hustle.  Get yourself them checks upon checks on the side job.
