I went to a Vietnamese pho restaurant. Their chicken pho dish
had pieces of sliced nqaij qai hau in it. Yummiest!

Hmoob need to use words correctly. Vom  is only half cooked and not fully cooked. This word
came from Hmong practice of vom mov half way and draining out the kua ntxhai before
recooking to full.

Cool. never knew that. I have a white brother n law who pretended he loved it, then my sister broke it out to my mother, he's not very fond of it, so she never packed them anymore qaib vom, or boiled chicken. LOL I see why the Elders love it. It's more like comfort food to them I think. Free range chicken does have a fresher taste too.

Next time have your mom pack raw beef. That's rare steak that he'll eat for sure.
