'Renowned’ NYC Cancer Doctor Kills Her Infant and Herself

Dr. Krystal Cascatta was remembered by a former patient as “a star in her field, dedicated and lovely, whip smart and a competitive athlete.”

A prominent New York City cancer doctor shot her young child before turning the gun on herself, police said Saturday.

Few details were immediately provided by investigators probing the deaths of Dr. Krystal Cascetta, 40, and her infant. The New York State Police said in a press release that the scene at the family’s home in Westchester County was “consistent with a murder/suicide.”

very sad...like they say, sometimes it's the most seemingly happy people who are the ones who are most depressed. Mental health is very real...I've gone through it before..when it comes, it's uncontrollable ...it's almost like when you're pissed off and you try to keep it cool and hold your compulsure but you can't..lols. How I conquer my demons? Believe in a higher power of some sort..it's the only way. The docs won't tell a patient that, hence, it's probably illegal for them to say that..lols but in life, believing in a higher power is a must. even if you only subconsciously believe in one, is better than not..so rocko, choose your higher power now.
