Regarding Tou Ger Xiong, we travel quiet a bit and why we skip level 4 countries

...We almost flew to Venezuela but changed our route to Aruba instead due to their level 4 warning. I mentioned it on this PH thread:

Original plan was to go to Venezuela to check out the Andes and then cut across to Aruba and Curacao but due to Venezuela's level 4 status and visa issues, we just went to straight to Aruba.

So yeah, better safe than sorry...Unfort unately, Tou had to find out the hard way, RIP:

The freedoms afforded to Tou Ger Xiong in America are not honored in countries like Colombia. I have no doubt that he carried himself in the same manner while on his visit, rather than respect the fact that Colombians do not appreciate Americans wildin' out in their country. Heck, they even kidnap and torture their own citizens. It's best to party elsewhere.

Anyways, not the most honorable way to go. The reality is that people will only remember him for this incident.
