There’s a real problem with kids in stolen cars running from cops, like this 15-year-old in California using a C6 Corvette to flee from San Bernadino County deputies on the night of October 11. If it shocks you that someone so young not only stole a vehicle but fled from police at high speeds, you probably haven’t been paying close attention to what’s been happening over the past several years.

Not only has there been a steady increase in car theft across much of the country, many of those thefts are pulled off by minors. Theft rings will teach kids how to boost vehicles, hiring them out for shockingly little as the teens and sometimes children as young as eight enjoy the thrill of stealing.

I would never run from the cops.  I don't speed anymore after my speeding ticket 4yrs ago.  Cop said I passed him going 110mph but no radar evidence so I charges were lessened.  I should of went to jail but it was during covid so I got lucky.  Only 8hrs of online class and no community service.  Took 3yrs to finalize my case lol.

I actually know two people who have personally run from the police. One of them doesn't seem to be completely present mentally, and the other believed that his vehicle could outrun the police. Unfortunately, I had to bail out the second person. On reflection, perhaps both of them are not quite mentally there. Come to think of it, the second guy has two kids that are LEO now.

I read some where that the dad, upon realizing he had lost both kids, cried and rolled around outside. That’s just so sad.
