1. Make billions off MAGA idiots who invest in this because he said to do so.

But the second reason is more devious.  Crypto currency is not tracked so if a foreign agency wants to bribe Trump, they simply say to him, do me this favor and I will buy $XXX worth of $Trump coins.

Think about it. The coins are free to issue so basically Trump can take bribes without worrying about ever being caught.
