A lot of companies are following the Doge mantra without saying it.
This one non profit that gets funding from the government all of a sudden, did their own audit and found that they have millions laying around for future projects so what do they do? They started sharing that funds with all of their employees and say it was because they beat a metric. A grand to each employee out of nowhere. While their employees are not fighting the system and who doesn't like free money? And so, they just hush hush up but I know what's going on. The metric we are talking about like customer service retention blah blah was hit on every given year so where are the bonuses for those years? Why now? hrmm
Also with DEI, my VP director got transferred to MN and wanted me to go with him. He knows I have families there and can easily transition on in. Here at headquarter, the CEO is his boss. With him being over there, he is the top boss. I said I'll stay because I wanted his vacant office.
