Like mounting, it can be done with just basic hand tools like soapy water and tire irons. However, breaking the bead is probably the hardest part of dismounting a tire without a machine. I've used 2x4 wood and scissor jack and those methods have worked in the past. I'll will explain and show that method later...with a video of me doing it...
1. Remove the valve to let the air out:

2. Once air is out, spray some soapy water on the tire. And yes soapy water is your best friend when it comes to mounting and dismounting a tire by hand:

3. Break the bead, this is usually the hardest part of removing a tire without a machine but it can be done. Several DIY methods but I like to use the scissor jack method by placing it under my Taco's tow hitch. As you jack it up against the tow hitch, the downward pressure will be enough to break the bead:

Here's a video of me jacking it up. You can do it manually with socket and ratchet but I have a driver so it's much faster

Looks like this after the beads are broken. Has to be broken on both sides:

Prepare to get your knees dirty when mounting and dismounting a tire by hand...
