In CO, a democrat control state House rejected a bill that would put minimum sentences to people who kidnap, sold or buy children for sexual exploitation. House Bill 1092 would have mandated minimum sentences for those who kidnap/sold/buy children for sexual exploitation. The bill was heard in the House State, Civic, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, which is also known as the “kill committee.” The panel lived up to its nickname, killing the bill on an 8-3 party-line vote. Not a single Democrats voted for it.
In another bill that would make indecent exposure to children a felony, 27 Democrats voted against it. House Bill 1135 would make it a felony crime if a person over the age of 18 exposes or touches their genitals for sexual gratification while they know they are in the view of a person under the age of 15. The bill received bipartisan support, but was only opposed by Democrats. In the House, 27 Democrats voted against the bill and only 18 voted in favor of it. It was passed with the help of the 18 Democrats along with all the GOP/Independent.
This is similar to the Civil Rights (desegregation) vote where GOP overwhelmingly voted for it (over 80%) while the Dem mustered just 60%. Now, the Left/Dem are trying to bring segregation back in the form or 'safe space' for Blacks and minorities.
