Unsheltered homelessness did decrease but shelter homelessness increased - so, they moved the outside homeless to inside and call it working? Yes, homicide is the lowest since 2013 in 2025, report claimed. However, crime rate have steadily decline since 1992 with a uptick during the pandemic (2020-2022), post pandemic continued to see a decreasing violent crime rate. So, this has nothing to do with Karen Bass and her policies. Proactive policing, community initiatives, and other systemic shifts caused crime to steadily decrease for decades...
