The commissioner has not said much with all these transactions, normally we would hear if there would be a block or approval. I guess we are going to have only maybe five solid, great teams and the rest of the NBA teams will just be sorry.

The League may suffer. Without parity it'll be feast or famine. Top 8 teams will be 60+ win teams while the next 8 may be .500 at best.

Silver can't say much about free agents.  There actually hasn't been that many big trades, maybe just Rose and Bogut.  The rest are just free agents.

Should OKC trade Westbrook now or they will find the same situation like Durant comes next season.

Wade wants $50 mill for two years contract. Should the Heat give it to him?

Without some guarantee that he will stay, they will have to trade Westbrook or end up with nothing.

Miami owes it to him and wade doesn't want to leave. He's a lifer.

I think so too.

I don't think he wants to leave either, but $10 mill less than what he is seeking from them can make the difference. He just completed a 2.5 hours meeting with the Nuggets and have discussion with the Bucks as well.

OKC should have traded Durant this year.  OKC should trade Westbrook now.  If the reports are true that OKC knew Durant was leaving and didn't trade, then they made a mistake.  Maybe OKC thought Durant would stay if he won a title?  But, that was a long shot.  Beating GSW was going to be hard (they almost did it, but the NBA said no).  And even if they did beat GSW, they weren't going to beat the Cavs.  OKC should trade and stock up.

Wade should leave.  Miami looks like they are about to screw him over.  At this point in his career, he needs to get that money to set him up for life.  Then again, Florida's tax laws are nice.  Someone should do the math.  Maybe $40 in Miami is actually more than $50 elsewhere.

So the sources were correct, Wade took the two years contract of $47.5 million with the Bulls. Can you blame him, it is about money after all for some players.

Aging player. Proven player. The League pays their vets. Miami knew Wade would ask for a pretty hefty contract at this point in his career. Did the Bulls just acquire an aging wonder or did they get a solid vet? We'll see this coming NBA season.

It's not fair to label players that "It's all about the money."  It's just smart business.  A 20% pay cut is a  lot no matter the business.  In Wade's case, it is 20% plus years of taking a pay cut.  To add, who knows what promises were made and were not upheld.

Their lost, he's the Heat greatest player. He left because he was offended that the Heat did not make him a priority during FA. The Heat instead was more in tune with Hasan Whiteside and Kevin Durant. He felt unappreciated after all he has done for them. Once that happen, not just him, almost every men would walk. No amount of money would make him stay.

The Bulls should be better this coming season.

Maybe it was a little about money, for some players it sure is.  The bottom line between Heat’s and Bulls’ offered was $3 million after factoring in the state tax differences.

Not all big names gel nicely together. So I will not be surprise. All I care about is the Lakers becoming contender again.

Jason Terry informed by Rockets that he won't be resigning with the team.
