The first moment you caught my eye
I knew you were the one I want to spend the rest of my life with
I wanted your heart and mind

I wed you with love, honesty, truth, friendship to the end
I gave you my time , my heart, and anything u wanted
we built our love in this poverty of a land

Through the tormoil of lifes tragedy and crazyness
we made our way into the dreamland
in the new world we built our family nest

after all these years we have stood the hardship of life
childrens grown and flown the coup
never in a million years did I imagine this nite

like two peas in a pod you and I
I never got to tell you I loved you
and never got to hold your hand too

even still you understood my love was true
and for you and you alone
saw into my  soul that it was not made of stone

the nightmare of all nightmares came that unfaithful night
the moment I held you in my arm for the first time
and in your eyes , you lost that shimmer, that light

my dreams all shadders like ten thousand shards of glass
my future gone like the sand blown away by the cruel wind
like a snuff of the burning candle just soo quick,so fast

I never got to say goodbye
I never got to tell you I love you
no more will you be my partner for .... life
