i'm still usin' XP, and Win8 is coming out this fall?

i tend to be a generation or 2 behind with OSs, doesn't bother me tho, i still mess around with old DOS programs...and we know how much Windows loves DOS

any real point to upgrading to Win7 if 8's comin' in a few months?

I don't want Windows 7 or Windows 8.  I hate change.   :'(

But I've used Windows 7.  Windows 7 is not so bad.  It's nice.

Windows 8 is suppose to be very touch-screen-y.  Microsoft wants everyone to carry laptops or tablets/ipads!  I guess they are going this route because there has been lots of sales on tablets/laptops.  On-the-go technology is great but I still prefer a PC that is stationed in one place all the time too, sometimes.
