TV Shows that Needed More Than 1 Season
« on: May 23, 2015, 10:21:02 PM »
There are some great TV shows that never lasted more than one season.  For some reason people didn't watch, or it didn't get network support, or it was just ahead of its time.  Let's start this with...

Outsourced.

This was a hilarious series.  It should have kept going.  At least it kinda had an ending.

Firefly

A really great sci-fi.  Joss Whedon is popular now, but sci-fi fans know him from way before then.  At least we got a follow-up to this series with Serenity.

Freaks and Geeks
Undeclared

Both are great shows that only lasted one season.  We have Glee today, but Freak and Geeks was much better.  I suppose if we look at both shows together, it's at least 2 seasons.

The Middleman.

The comic book was fun, and the TV series was as well.  The show also had one of the better female protagonist.  Too bad no one watched it.  So few people watched it that YouTube doesn't even bother to block it from copyright.

Here's the full pilot.

Are you hitting on me?
Just making an observation.

Sh!t My Dad Says

I enjoyed the show, but I know there are a lot of haters of the show out there too.  The show was never given all it got.

My So Called Life

People are always saying you should be yourself, like yourself is this definite thing, like a toaster. Like you know what it is even. But every so often I'll have, like, a moment, where just being myself in my life right where I am is, like, enough.
