Hmong and the Wu people (Suam Vwj)
« on: July 28, 2016, 05:34:26 PM »
I don't know, but I do have a hunch. I have seen similarities of Wu language that is similar to ours. I can here iddi-bitty words that I can understand from them that has Hmong vocabs like "Ntawm." Is it true that Wu might be the first evolution of Hmong before the middle times of the Hmong in China?

Isn't Wu, Han ethnic? Han and Hmong share similar languages but that could have been through assimilation because Green Dialect is original unlike that of White dialect.

You could be right. What if Wu was Hmong Green?

No. I doubt it. Green dialect and cultural customs are so stringent even til this day. They are more credible than White. So the chances of Wu being one is unlikely.

Well, if Wu and Green Clan by their descendent, we have to check their lineage. I hate for a fact that Hmong has to learn Chinese because in order to learn our history, we have to learn Chinese. It sucks!
