I'm not like that...not looking for new baby mamas or cougars to hit the sack with :P ;D. Also, I'm trying to stay away from all the alcohol drinks that I know is coming that night. I have all day Sunday to explore and I don't want to ruin that. What are somethings that you would recommend for out of state people to see?

I've seen hot chicks at funerals. But they cook so hard though.

there's like a few Hmong funeral homes you could go visit ...every other week there's a Hmong funeral happening, you may find your mama's papa's cousin's aunt's uncle's sister's long lost cousin there

buttttt...on a more serious note, there's plenty of Asian food on Stockton blvd, just yelp your type of food and look at the pictures and reviews

if u like FOBs or older folks in their 40s thru 50s and my parent's age then check out the restaurant called Anh Hong on florin rd., not sure if they still do it but they host OG parties every now and then...that's all I know for now based on current facebook postings from families and friends :P

That's what I did the last two times I was in San Francisco for one night each. First time, I went to get dinner at Japan Town and called it a night. The second time,  I went to get dinner at China Town and called it a night.

Its always hard to avoid friends and family whenever you're in town. Hmong people always find an excuse to drink and go hard even if the visitation is on a personal level ;D  I don't know if I can do the Jackson casino again...it was okay. 4 lobster and I tapped out :P

u can go to downtown and walk around the state capitol...the new arena was built not too long ago and although the Kings suck, they often have concerts and currently the kay doo protest that you can watch then old sac near the river...

for sushi restaurants, i would recommend Raku sushi in west sac., it's a lot more fresh than Fugi sushi ..

Yebleng, are you here for a funeral? say a Vwj or Lee funeral? because if so that's my bff's grandmama who passed, if not then I don't know.

No. I'm in Fresno visiting. Does the river have any cool outdoor pubs where I can sit down and have a beer and watch people?

@ Yebleng, taste and opinions are subjective so paint the city as u like...flint is just trying to filter and prove me otherwise like he often tends to do  ::)

w/ regards to outdoor pubs near the river, I'm not sure...maybe joe's crab shack? I would avoid the downtown area if possible but if u like crowds and mingling in group then that's for u

they have a few karaoke bars around the area as well...if u like shopping, Roseville Galleria should have nice stores for your wife or kids, then drive a little down southeast and u get the Folsom Outlet

Thanks for the great suggestions, nkaujsee O0  ... sadly, I'm on a solo mission. So, yes if time permits I will try to squeeze in some mingling around lol  ;) :D   The weather is looking good for california this weekend so outlets and shopping is definitely part of the agenda!

the recommendation s provided are all too boring...nothi ng but eating.  nkaujsee talks about anh hong like she's never been there before :P.  that's the new hot spot for asians, saturdays is happening and that's where you'll see alot of nkaujsees and nkaujlaugz!

are you down for some poj laibz?

if you are doing SF instead, hit up the chinese massage parlor...hot chinese massuese that offers happy ending.

if i was in norcal...i'd visit my pH friends...stay s at nkaujsee spared bedroom and then go kick it with some ho.e called duma!
