How can people...

live in such trashy conditions as if a tornado just blow by? Why are people in this situation? Lack of self sufficient, lack of self disciple, ect?
Do you know any 'trashy' people? By the way this does not apply to disable people.

hey now, this is a sore subject.  j/k.......but back in 1968 our town of 2k was hit by a F5 tornado.  I know it was way beyond my time but town did rebuild.  how long?  I don't know.  but nowadays, the only reminder of that tornado is a marker on hwy 14.

I used to date this person.  Some of the things that person didn't do was the dishes.  It is been sitting there for weeks and the garbage hasn't been taken out. That place was a paradise for bacteria, virus, and pests. Though that person was a great cooker.  I had to clean up that person's place. The person's place smell clean and fresh afterwards.  In less than 2 weeks I left the relationship.

Being messy is a condition that we think someone else will magically do it for us. 

It is a lack of responsibility .  Everyone loves to cook but no one loves to clean up.  However, there are a few who are the opposite.  They don't know how to cook so the least they can do is to clean up after.  We all need a balance in our lives.  The ying and the yang effect brings harmony to our own well being.

I like cleanliness too but I can understand a little messy especially if you've got family/children, full time work, etc..  Cleaning and taking care of family is a full time job.

Being a little messy is acceptable when you have kids. I'm a total neat freak. When I was single I would always clean up after myself.

I like a little bit of unorganized dirtiness.  It gives me something to do.  Not right away cuz that'll remind me of my mom nagging to clean up your room now.  I'll do it on Sunday.
