green bay tournament this weekend

Yeh. I thought about going this year since I haven't been there for ages. But if that's the case, it's too bad. Guess will be staying home for the weekend then.

I have given up going to Wisconsin to find girls. One time some years ago, I went to the Green Bay tournament. Met a girl from Madison, not Green Bay. She was playing volleyball and I gave her a bottle of water. But she kept playing volleyball and didn't pay any attention to me. So, I went to watch Yeng Moua sing for a while and then left the tournament for home.

Another time, I went to Milwaukee's New Year celebration by that downtown street near the black eagle statue. Didn't meet anyone. Just met an old friend and his wife. Talked for a bit. Had dinner together right at the celebration hall. Then I left for home.

LaCrosse is known for its earlier outdoor new year celebrations. I went there three times and didn't meet any girl. One of the times, I met three ladies who all looked very nice but when I introduced myself to them, they said they were from St. Paul and all were married.They wanted me to meet their 18-year-old niece back in St. Paul but I declined.  I just watched some volleyball games and then left for home.

Not worth it. That's why I'd rather fish and hunt in Minnesota during those celebrations.

Love your stories about being rejected at them hmong event. 

I rather listen to those than that of my friends who casually goes to hmong events, meet up with girls and by the end of the week, someone is forcing their daughter to marry them.  I think this is how hmong youngins are marrying way too early.  Get caught up so gotta force to grow up.
