She's definitely going against the grain.  Reminds me of listening to Mos Hlub because they did things that was not acceptable...  Heck their name Mos Hlub was not acceptable.

Mos Hlub serves two purposes: 1. the name of a powerful, mythical carnivorous devil, and 2. the verb form of the syllables, meaning "rape" or "forced love." Mos = wrestle down, take down; and hlub = love, euphemisticall y "have sex."

She's definitely going against the grain.  Reminds me of listening to Mos Hlub because they did things that was not acceptable...  Heck their name Mos Hlub was not acceptable.

No matter how good they are, it doesn't matter unless to social current and the social narratives carry them.  Right now Mexicans and Black got the media game on lock so it gives no place for Asian Americans.  Think about how much envy the Asian people receive from other races and it's mostly Chinese Asians who are wealthy rich.

Also, most of these rappers do not have a mentor to help them avoid all the pitfalls of fame.  Skils isn't enough...You need mentors to help you with your marketing game and discipline to play the grind game.

Her lyrics are hollow. She isn't saying anything unique to her identity. She thinks that she is dope because she dropped the "n" word and uses words like lambo and money, like black rappers.

What makes a rapper a standout is that they rhyme about what they know and what applies to them. Eminem talked about being poor and white. NWA talked about surviving in Compton.

At least those other Hmong female rappers talked about being whores.

The reason Cardi B skyrocketed is because she raps like a two-cent stripper thug and she is also one.

Maybe this Hmong chick should talk about being a big girl in the Hmong community who surrounds herself with hip hop culture. That would be much more interesting and authentic.

What yall think of ViciousSwagger?

Hollow lyrics. Not authentic to herself. I'm basing my review on the video link in this thread.

^^^

Much more interesting to listen to than that big girl. Much more authentic to who they are and what they know. That big girl just had stupid hollow lyrics. She ain't living large or hardcore to be dropping lyrics like that.
