I've also tried the brand ("Sho-Shiku") Cali Guy likes as well as this brand and they're good too IMO...And as you can see I'm a fan of the short grain version..:

Which one is better?

Nope, people have favorite lol

Which one is better?

Hard to say as they're all good as far as brands go but I'll probably stick to Apple if it comes down to it.

As far as short grain vs long grain goes..just depends on the individual but I like short grain better in terms of taste..

With that said, long grain may be a little more healthier so by "better", you're referring to health, long grain may be the way to go.. ???

I'm not referring to that question. I'm referring to the Minnesota-grown-rice question.

Nope, people have favorite lol

I don't know.  As far back as I could remember, we have always stuck with Apple.  So, I guess you could say that it's our favorite.

I absolutely love these combination:

and

Sorry, don't know how to re-size but this brand of sticky rice w/ the purple sticky rice ==> perfect combination.

If you live in MN, you can go here to get the sticky rice:
https://www.ricefactoryusa.com/

Oh yes, I cook in the rice cooker like how I cook normal rice.... so ready in 15 mins.

I've tried the "rice cooker" method for convivence purposes but just doesn't taste as good so I went back to the old steam banana leaves method.. O0:
