I absolutely love these combination:

and

Sorry, don't know how to re-size but this brand of sticky rice w/ the purple sticky rice ==> perfect combination.

If you live in MN, you can go here to get the sticky rice:
https://www.ricefactoryusa.com/

Oh yes, I cook in the rice cooker like how I cook normal rice.... so ready in 15 mins.

I don’t believe we have this brand here but I’ll keep my eyes open for it.

If these are purple/black rice than I don’t like them.

 Thanks.

I've tried the "rice cooker" method for convivence purposes but just doesn't taste as good so I went back to the old steam banana leaves method.. O0:

Steaming in the traditional basket is my only way.

Dok_Champa, those sound like they would taste good.  Btw, I love the smell and taste of mov nplej tshiab.  So nostalgic.  I love anything that reminds me of my childhood.  Like zaub iab kib (stir fried bitter leaves), zaub iab hau tsuag nrog green bean, bitter eggplant pepper, bitter melon and chicken soup, etc.
