depending on how much blood you want to collect...
i usually fill about 3-4 inches of water from the bottom of a 5 gallon
mix in a handful of salt... stir till dissolve

once the cow has been shot... you go in there and cut the artile at the neck and collect blood
i usually collect about half a bucket
the blood gets harden after while

it all depend on your budget..
you can get some nice angus cattle $1k  - $2k
they all taste good man
once you start cooking and adding spice
you can't tell the difference

the really number 1 important thing...
you need to look for is the AGE
this can make a huge difference on taste...
old age=tougher meat
get a cow around 1.5 year old
you get like 2-3 years old.
the meat start to get hard to chew and eat

sometimes... you gotta hassel and barter
tell the dude to lower it down $$$

you can get some nice big one with alot of meat for $2k
