Fishing.
I have loosening up my fishing activities. But I've loved fishing beyond belief. For years, I had never quite looked at myself as a fisherman. And when I had fished with my friends, they seemed to know more about fishing than I did. They even knew how to fish better, too. I would learn new things each time I went fishing with each of them. But little did I know, in the last 20 years, I have bought so many fishing poles, baits, hooks, singers (weights), and lines that I actually have not used. Two months ago, when I decided that I should not be luring fish to bite undercovered hooks, because that's a terrible thing, I started giving my fishing poles away. Turned out, I had a collection of over 20 poles. The two families that took them appreciated my gifts so much. I felt so much relief having cleared up my garage. Now I can put my cars back in the garage.
I still keep four poles. So, now I don't need any more fishing pole. I just need to find a good place where the fishing will bite my lures--with hooks inside fake fish foods ready to puncture.
I'm not the kind of fisherman who would catch coolers and coolers of fish on each trip. Some of my trips have ended with no catches. And if I ever catch up to three fish, I'd be happy enough to call it a good
trip. So, I can't be called a fisherman but just someone who loves to fish. But that's still a great passion.
I can't believe I can be that cruel to fish. But, hey, isn't the world saying that's Heaven-made foods for humans? Well, at least I don't just fish and kill away. I fish, keep, eat or give them away to people who would eat them.
That serves Heaven's permissible purpose.
