Tom Hanks just made $358K selling his old truck and trailer

Add used car salesman to Tom Hanks' resume.
The screen legend pulled in $358,400 last weekend auctioning his old SUV and travel trailer. They weren't exactly run-of-the-mill models, however.
The pristine 1980 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser sold for $123,200 at Bonham's Quail Lodge Auction was modified with a GM V6 and equipped with leather Porsche seats and an upgraded suspension while the 1992 Airstream sold at the same event for $235,200.
The Land Cruiser's sale price was near the high end of its pre-auction estimate of $75,000 to $125,000 and much more than a stock model typically goes for, while the Airstream hit near the top of its $150,000 to $250,000 range.
