ok here's a pix of how strong it is.  Before and after.   Hits home to me as my hometown is from the east bank.  This is the west bank of the MIssissippi.  East bank boys be chasing west bank girls and marrying them.  I dunno what's that all about but it's a trend there.

That howie long bridge separates the east bank from west bank.  I'm from the french quarter side so we are east bank narleans viets.  Those living on the other side of the river, the west bank viets and us east bank guys do not get a long.  I have no idea who threw first blood but we refuses to date them girls over there.  That was before though.  These days, there are less viets in narleans due to katrina.  They are all flooded the next closest viet community, houston texas. 

popeyes now sells that white power bread.  May not taste the same but good enough.  You can also order the bread recipe online and cook it yourself.  Cafe du monde coffee can be found at your local viet shops. 

walking distance is a big casino called Hurrahs.  Bourbon street, I drink hand grenade.

I like Nawlins but unfortunately, it happens to be in the path of many hurricanes over the years i.e., Andrew, Katrina, and of course now Ida..
