This SSI COLA jump should make many Hmong happy

When I was in the social services field, Hmong SSI recipients make up one of the largest group per capita so not sure if it's still the same. If it is, this big SSI COLA increase should make them happy  :

Now if inflation were to deflate or going the other way, can the government reverse things and take some back? 

No need to worry.  It it less likely that the government is going to readjust the social security act basing it upon the current value or condition of our economy.

What they don't tell you is that while your Cola goes up, everything else must of gone up as well. 

Your prescriptions, your medicare part ABCDEZ goes up as well.  But who cares right?  As long as the numbers are bigger than life and you can tell your hmong hunnies in the motherland that you just got a big raise.

Yeah, it just mean they were the same or less as they were before...

10% more than what they didn't have before for their "honeys in Laos".. If those honeys know what's up with COLA, they might tried to milk them for twice as much..
