Once I get my new car, I'll drive to vegas once again. The common denominators to all my vehicles are that I must take them to the OC, Vegas for a test run once bought new. The other denominator is that when I'm ready to retire the vehicle, it would have hit a critter of the fields. We talking about flying owl, rabbit, dogs or cats and the infamous deer. Just a few weeks ago, I ran into a buck road kill. There is no way that I can dodge it and I was going only 60mph. The other cars on the other lane already warned me with high beam but I thought it was a cop alert. It was a dark stretch of the road to jackson and unlucky for me, I was the lead car so I can't use the car in front of me for traffic alert. That sucker was huge, with horns and all and it was laying half way on my side of the road. I ran over it with the horn scratching the bottom of my car. I think damage was done somewhere and possible a dent in the cat. You know you can't pass smog if your cat is bad. New whip coming soon as I'm in the market to hunt for one right now.
Vegas or daygo will be my first trip once I get my new whip. Venturing out to every corner of vegas to see how the locals are living has this surreal vibe to it. Would I live there? No unless all of my buddies all retire and we all move there together then sure, in a heartbeat. Retirement to me is to be able to enjoy the rest of your life with those you loved. It will be a sad realization that as we grow older, we too will line up and go to each one of our buddies funerals and such.
