Hmong Green VS. Hmong White

Hello!  I have a question about these two dialects.  There was a post about the difference in Hmong Green and Hmong White a couple of years back. Does anyone know what that difference is? It was a saying in both Hmong Green and White about taking the brother in law fishing or something and bringing him back for supper. If anyone can provide me with that saying in both Hmong White and Green, I would appreciate it. I'm writing a research paper and wanted to share that difference. Thank You in Advance!!

I'm sure you can Google it and find just as many valid answers. With that said, I don't think the difference is "dialects" but more so different accents of the same language. Kind of like how Americans, British, and Australians all speak English but with different accents. Dialect on the other hand is pretty much a different language with very few exceptions like Cantonese vs. Mandarin for the Chinese. I'm white Hmong so I may not understand some Green Hmong words but I can communicate with them just fine for the most part so the difference is accent.

As for the question regarding the two dialect, there are actually 3 stories that I personally know of and have heard.  Oddly, none is the one you inquired about,  but they all pretty much convey the exact same message/fact between both dialect. ummm.. Thank You to all you who answered. I wasn't looking for a debate or anything but just that one particular saying that was in both Hmong Green and Hmong White and how it gives off a different meaning because of the different letters/sounds that it uses. Does that make sense? I just remember the saying was along the lines of "Cov Dlaab laug moog something.. something.. " and how Hmong White don't use the term "Dlaab Laugh" for sister's brother, because it's indicating that he's a Ghost or Monster and they use soemthing else for it. Does that make sense? I'm just trying to see if any of you know or remember this saying since it was on PH many years ago.
