Looks pretty nice and big and fancy

I remembered going cross country and even out in the boonducks, a casino pops up and I know that civilization is close by.   Go straight and continue with the path or take a detour because it says casino go north.

Since you like to travel, remember this place.  It will open in mid 2020.  It is a water park hotel resort off hwy 120 in the city of manteca.  Right by Costco

Heard that only hotel guest are allowed to use their water park and rooms are starting at $199 a night.

Yep, heard about that new water park in Manteca when they proposed it a couple of years ago..Back then I also heard that only hotel guests are allowed. I don't think it's good for business if they only allowed the guests in since there so many people living in the area that is willing to pay for the park but not the hotel stay but we'll see... ???

I think their idea of allowing just patrons only is for a security reason.  Manteca did had a water park before and that one went out of business.  The only thing missing is to have a casino in there.  Water park, hotel, casino

Hey if Richmond can have a casino right off their main street (San Pablo Ave), I say Manteca can have one too...Just park it right on Yosemite Avenue close to the 205 so it'll also be close to both Lathrop and Tracy.. ;D O0

The thing with bad pho is this.  Even if it doesn't taste like pho, as long as it is being cooked by non azn, people will still buy to eat it.  As long as it looks like pho.  Jackson used to have a pho house before all them renovation.  Pho was not up to specs but it was a hit since that is about all the azn food they had there.  Either eat that or eat your pizza american burger joint.

Plus some not paying for their pho.  Play a few, earn enough points to cover their pho bowl.  Like lose $300 to eat a bowl of pho.  Expensive pho bowl there I must say.

Speaking of "pizza", in terms of buffet quality, the pizza was another standout food since they actually have a brick oven doing the work. With that said, the rest of the main course food were just meh IMO:

There is a card room in manteca.  I know the general manager and the owner somewhat personally.  The general manager is the untouchable.  He knows all the big players in town and gets what he wants.  I even saw the former mayor of manteca going to his casino at 3am in the morning to play some poker and to stay under the radar from the general public.

The owner himself about to die of old age and is in vietnam and is raising a few young viet girls.  I know for a fact that he's raising them to fawk them.  He comes to america like once in a few years just to check up on his business.  He lives there and he have his droids pumping all that casino money over to him to spend there.  He even gave me his number and told me that if I ever go back to vietnam, look him up.   I'm like nah, I don't do business with the corrupt.

Anyways, back to my point.  These powerful people are not going to bring in another casino just to kill their ongoing establishing business.  Even the police are being payed under table.

Yep, definitely not as good as some of my favorite pho houses in San Jo or the OC but for a casino buffet pho, it's the best I've eaten..I think it's because they have more condiments, the veggies are fresh and because the lady that makes the broth in the back is actually Vietnamese but for what ever reason, gotta give Winstar casino's buffet a plus on the pho.  O0

You know about the hardrock casino coming to sacramento?  It is opening soon like really soon like next week or so for pre grand opening.

https://www.hardrockhotels.com/sacramento

just looked at the map.  Basically, just go north off 65 and pass thunder valley for a few miles.   On the left side you should see it.

When I read "former mayor", I immediately thought of this disgraced former Stockton mayor but then I read "manteca".. ;D:

Did not know about it. Full casino or just card room?

The only I've heard about in the Sac area is the one coming to Elk Grove..

Yeah, looks like I'm going to go just to see what the hoola is all about.  I'll probably be in line with a hundred or so of the same enthusiastic folks who wants to try out their new buffet bar.  I don't think they have anything fancy like lobster or crab night.  Maybe not yet.   This casino will capture those living in the northern part of the state as they are driving down.  For the rest of us, thunder valley is far enough of a drive and with the same or not better amenities there plus I get perks there, I'll just stop at thunder valley instead.  They should have hooked up with the elk grove hmong mayor to put one south of elk grove.  That will be a sure category killer right there as it is half way to thunder and jackson and harrah.   People will drive less for their action.
