Forgot to mention this but the folks at St. Mary's also asked me to tell you they "appreciate" your "generosity" and it's genuine because at that level of community support, every little bit help.

That dining hall is still there after all these years.  My very first job was a pizza hut and any leftover pizza, we would take it to this dining hall.  There is another crusade group that does this volunteer work because they realized that no all businesses are able to sell out by the end of closing so they goes around and collected a truck load of food for charity. 

Thank you Cali guy for giving it back to the community that needed it most.  Around this dining hall is the famous stockton homeless encampment.  The highway goes on top of this dining hall and I drove by there all the time and there is a river runs into this encampment.  I kept on wondering if they are homeless, would it make sense for them to fish for their meal on a daily basis?  The answer is no as people poop and piss into this river system.  Water is always dark like mud chocolate.
