Eric: I do
Priest: Vanessa, do you take this woman to be your lawfully husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.
Vanessa: I do
Priest: And now you may kiss the bride.

What happen to the promises "I do" they made to each other when the priest quote the statement, "to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part." They ain't loving and cherish one another. Their marriage didn't last long. Gavin's infidelity ruined their marriage.
