MRI machine death

The incident involving a man being pulled into an MRI machine while wearing a metal chain has raised concerns about the safety of such machines. The 61-year-old man, Keith McAllister, died after being drawn into the machine by the chain, which weighed 20 pounds. The incident occurred at the Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, New York, and highlights the importance of checking for any metallic objects before undergoing an MRI scan. The National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering states that MRI machines use a strong magnetic field that can exert very powerful forces on objects made of iron, some steels, and other magnetizable objects.

Keith McAllister, a 61-year-old man, tragically died after being sucked into an MRI machine while wearing a 20-pound chain around his neck. The incident occurred at the Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, New York, where McAllister was assisting his wife during her MRI scan. Despite having a conversation about the chain, the technician failed to inform him to remove it, leading to the unfortunate accident. McAllister remained attached to the machine for nearly an hour before being freed, during which he suffered multiple heart attacks and ultimately died the following day.

I’m more amazed at wearing a 20 lbs chain as fashion.

Who the hell wears a 20lbs dumbbell around their neck? He probably thought it was genuine gold but it was painted stainless steel  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: If it had been gold, he'd still be fine.

So, let me get this right.

He wasn't the one needing the MRI but was just
helping his wife who was under going an MRI scan.

The MRI machine sucked him in and he was stuck
to the machine for a whole hour without being removed.

The technician wasn't f-ing A but will FO.
