1.  Dana Buchman black leather jacket... my all-time favorite and go with anything and everything jacket.
2.  Worthington black button down blouse.
3.  Liz Claiborne black pencil pants.
4.  Black BORN sandal heels.
5.  Hmong inspired scarf from walmart.  Although I was not too crazy about how thin and short it was... I wanted one just to have one... lol.  Turn out to work well with conservative clothes as it is not as bulky as the other ones.

Pinkie, I love blush too... to me, it's almost a neutral color... lol.  I loved it before it became an "IT" color. 


I have come to realize that I love and look good in bright jewel tone colors, especially in primary colors.

But I do love Zara shoes! If you stick to anything around 3.5" and under they are pretty comfortable. I think most of the ones I have are 3.5" to 3.75". I wear them for work but I sit a lot at work...unless I'm running to meetings. The shoes are true to size.

Shoes are my real passion in fashion. I just love shoes but anything over 3.5 inches is a dealbreaker for me no matter how cute the shoe is.    I just can't walk in very high heels. 3.5 inches is already pushing it. I do love those pointy toe zara heels that you have, but I've not been able to find any lately... even online. I used an app called Poshmark and they had some cute Zara heels that weren't too high but I didn't get it so now I'm out of luck.

One of my favorite color combo for fall/winter is navy blue and caramel. I have quite a few caramel color skirts because I love pairing them with boots in the fall. Wearing today.....

Navy blue blouse, Loft. Caramel skirt, Jcrew. Heels, Zara.

LL, I like how you brought color into your outfit with the scarf.   

Yes, too bad some of us are limited in our choices.  I'll share someday.

Trouble, you're too cute.  You took the picture in the big room with shoppers and everything, huh?  lol.


I like the outfit.  Been wanting to get a flat pair of boots to wear out and about.  I don't usually wear flats, but I have noticed that a flat pair of knee high boots still looks sexy... at least sexier than a pair of normal flat shoes.

3.  Hot pink Hmong Inspired Scarf... looks more dark red.

Like Hush said, I usually start out with the jacket and then find basic pieces to go with.  Anyway, I prefer to wear the scarf this way and at this length.  What do you think?

Trouble, you are like the queen of knee high boot look. You wear them very, very well.

I love the knee high boot look but I'm very careful with how I wear it. I'm short so sometimes it can look overwhelming. On me, it looks best with leggings, never jeans. 

Trouble wear boots well.  I still can't find one all this time.  I only want flat riding boots.  I came across a few of those that Trouble has but not in size 5 and most store has 6.  I give up because the shaft a little taller and the cir. Is too big. 

My daughter has boots but they feel funny on me while she wear them well with her skinny jeans or leggings.

This was  my very first Tahari leather jacket.  It's so very soft.  The leather quality is superb!  Since this one, I have been wanting another Tahari leather jacket, but they rarely ever have them in size small, and this one is an XS... (trust me, this is not my usual size, only in this brand...lol).

Finally saw one in a price I was willing to pay and in my size as well as the cut and style that I have been wanting.

Actually, I was in the back where the fitting rooms were and no one was around, so I took a quick pick.  Hehehe.   

I don't think it matters whether the boots or shoes are flats, I think it's the style of the footwear because I have some cute pointy flats that I will wear in warmer weather that can make an outfit still look sexy.   

@PP and SB -

Thanks, ladies.  It also helps that I'm of average height so it's easier for me to wear and find nice knee high boots.  I'm sure I would run into the same problems that you ladies have if I were petite.
