Addison, what kind of job do you have that can give you time to go fishing on your break?  Wish I can do that.

Reporter - CPR only. I don't keep bass, only whitebass. lol.

fish4keep - Actually I tried to catch the ones in the bed pic but they didn't want anything to do with my senko. Didn't have much time so moved onto the next bed. lol. That was actually the closest bed to shore with active fish in it. The spawn is just starting here.

Come bass opening season, I take my limits of LMB. Plus any whitebass I can get. lol

How many ft of water was tat..way too shallow to be trolling there, wouldn't you think?.

I've seen bass come real close to the edges of many lakes, so close I have to hide behind some shrubs to cast over to them.

IDK how to cook Lunkers, other then smoke 'em over a fire. So I do catch N release. Last yr me and my buddies went on my boat N I think we killed that lake. My gosh it was like Whyte bass. Every cast was a big 2-3lb lunker, then the following week, we didn't catch any. So the next following week we caught a few but I told my buddies to catch N release. otherwise there won't be any more for us to catch for fun.

thethe big ones has the meater cheeks. Like scallops..but more tasty.. try it out..let me know what i think of it..

walleye cheeks are really good too.
probably the tastiest part of the fish.

Despite what some fishermen say, bed fish are damn hard to catch.  Maybe its just me but they dont want anything, worms, senkos, jigs, spinners...non e.  Maybe next time I throw a big swimbait and hope the big girls hit for coming too close.

So true. Some people make it sound easy, toss over creature bait, shake it around, bass gets mad, they bite. Yeah right, it never works that way for me. I've only ever had 1 bedding bass take my senko and it was still able to spit it even though I set the hook.
