As mentioned, I prefer the fat pho noodles over the typical thin noodles as it feels more meaty and I can bite more into it... .

Like making laab, pho is fairly easy to make:










My meat of choice for pho is beef short ribs with thick chunk of meat and fat on it as it already come with bones for broth flavoring. You can deboned the rib and dice the meat into smaller pieces or eat it whole like drumstick...yu mmy either way.. :

Pretty simple dish imo...Normally I would add beef tripe or pork skin and red leaf lettuce but not this time:


Fry some uncooked rice grains, once it's dark brown, pour it in a mortar then use the pestle to smash it until it's in powder form:




Cook the beef in a pot without any water or oil:




Constantly stir the beef so it's not burned:




Once the beef is cooked, drain it as much as possible using a colander:




Wash and prep the ingredients:








Laab is served:






Total damage for the supplies:




The most expensive item for the dish:

R. Kelly is currently blowing up Twitter over his latest, very controversial, reported relationship with a teenager. Yes, the man that has faced numerous sexual assault cases throughout his career is now rumored to be dating a 19-year-old girl by the name of Halle Calhoun. They were spotted out together over the weekend at Gold Room in Atlanta, Ga.

To put this in perspective, let's remember that R. Kelly is now 49 years old. That means that Calhoun wasn't even born yet when his hit single, "I Believe I Can Fly" topped the charts.

Mercedes-Benz began its big push downmarket in the U.S. with the CLA250 in 2013, but now it's entering uncharted territory price wise. The CLA initially had a base price under $30,000, but now there's a rear-drive, diesel-powered Mercedes you can buy for the price of a price of a loaded Honda Civic. Bargain of the century?

I'm talking, of course, about the just-announced Mercedes-Benz Metris Worker Cargo van, which has a base price of just $25,995. Yes, I used an unreasonably clickbait-y headline to get you to this story, but it's not wrong: the Metris Worker Cargo is a brand new vehicle with both a three-pointed star, and an MSRP lower than a Honda Civic Touring.

So, what do you get for your $25,995? Uh, not much, but that's the point. This is a totally stripped-out work truck, mainly designed for fleet usage. It has a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that 208 horsepower, and a seven-speed automatic to send power to the rear-wheels. The Metris Worker Cargo only comes in white, but the $29,995 Metris Worker Passenger van offers silver and black paint as an option.

Honda Unveils New CBR250RR


The rumors were true, Honda has pulled the cover off a new CBR250RR model in Indonesia.

The CBR250RR will be manufactured in Indonesia, making it the largest displacement Honda motorcycle to be manufactured in the country. Honda plans to begin sales of the all-new sports model in Indonesia by the end of 2016.

The CBR250RR is powered by a newly developed water-cooled 4-stroke 4-valve straight-twin DOHC 250cc engine. Honda says the engine is easy to handle for urban riding, while just as comfortable on the circuit. The bike will also feature a Throttle-by-Wire (TBW) system and selectable three-way engine mode settings.

A Pennsylvania mother is accused of stuffing her children, ages 3 and 5, into the trunk of a red Corvette and then riding around town.

Hanover Borough Police pulled over the two-seat sports car on July 10 after getting a 911 call from a person who saw someone placing two children in the car's trunk.

Authorities say the mother, 29-year-old Jessica Reger, was in the passenger seat. She faces two misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person.

A call seeking comment from her public defender wasn't immediately returned Monday.

The 28-year-old driver, Ilena Blackburn, has also been charged with recklessly endangering another person.

No attorney information for her was available in online court documents.

Knowing that a regular check with an oil change costs roughly $20,000 for a Veyron, this is hardly surprising.

Neither is that if you are a 28-years-old male, your insurance company will charge the price of a nice new car every year for your Bugatti's coverage. It's a hard life, ain't it?

73 year old grandmother dies after street-racing cars hit her SUV on Lindbergh Boulevard, police say


FRONTENAC, MO. - A street racing incident on a well-traveled road turned deadly, and now two men are being charged with manslaughter.

The crash happened Friday night just after 9. Frontenac police say 73-year-old Kay Koutroubis, a grandmother of five, was driving her Toyota SUV southbound on Lindbergh Boulevard when she was hit by the two men racing.

The horrific scene unfolded right in front of Kreis’ Steakhouse, right during the Friday night dinner rush.  Employees say restaurant patrons and staff witnessed the crash, and some went outside to help.

Koutroubis had been driving home from a close friend’s house. She was excited. Later this week, she was supposed to go to Florida, to spend time with her grandchildren. But fate had different plans.

The drivers who struck her SUV were allegedly intoxicated and racing each other. Thirty-nine year-old Haven Sooter, driving a BMW, allegedly rammed into her. Police said her SUV spun out, then was hit again, this time by the other racer, 44-year-old Scott Bailey(pictured above), driving a Mustang.

Sooter's picture was not available because he was taken to the hospital following the crash.

Koutroubis was taken to the hospital, complaining of stomach pain. After two days of fighting for her life, police say she died Sunday from internal trauma injuries.

It’s a devastating loss for those who were close to her. She’s survived by family including two children and five grandchildren. She sang in the choir at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
