Hmong News / Re: What's wrong with Hmong people...
« on: September 27, 2016, 08:43:08 PM »
Hate to say it but she is in the wrong in the first place. You just don't drink till you drop with a bunch of guys. Women need to stop playing the victim card and more importantly stop putting themselves in situations where they can be screwed. Otherwise, they can only expect counter lawsuits. This is why young women needs to heed and listen to their parents' words of wisdom. Obviously, she 18 and can do whatever she feels like it kind of attitude. You only reap what you sowed...

She can't control others' actions. That point would apply if her intention is to go out to have fun, drink til she passed out and encouraged others to rape her when she's passed out before hand...

That's like saying a driver was out driving to work/school/home minding his/her business and gets hit by a drunk driver but gets blame just because he/she just happens to be there...Theref ore if he/she didn't put him/herself in that situation where he/she could get hurt, it would not have happened so it's his/her fault for getting hit by a drunk driver.

Bottom line is, doesn't matter what you do, you can't control others' actions...Ther e are also cases of women that got raped inside of their own homes..

Work Avenue / Re: workplace discrimination
« on: September 26, 2016, 11:37:45 PM »
one thing alot of people don't understand is that managers can discriminate against you at work but as long as they don't mention your race as the reason you got no case.  If you feel discriminated against your task is to document everything that was done but most importantly, you have to catch them or get them to say it out loud and in front of others so that they can't claim they never said it.  Until that time, you got no case.

Guess it depends on which employer. I've worked at places where if your boss doesn't follow the code of conduct/ethics and he/she discriminates against you, he/she can be in hot water even if he/she never mention your race.

For examples, he/she is making negative comments about your looks, the clothes you wear, etc., or he/she is displaying things like pictures, posters, and symbols that have racial significance..

What's most important is always speak up, don't be afraid...regar dless if it's against you or you witness it against another person...

Movies / Re: Train to Busan

Meh, opinions vary when it comes to subjective things like movies. If I like a movie/director/actor and another person doesn't like it/him/her, it's no big deal to me because it's common knowledge that opinions do vary so no need to make it sound like one's preference is better/worst than the other..

If we all like the same thing, do the same thing, live the same way, etc., it would be a very boring world in my *opinion*...

I guess someone forgot to tell Lue Chang that over here is nothing like Laos.

Sadly even if some know about the consequences, they still don't care because primitive is, primitive does...

We're both in our early 30s but she has a very low sex drive. I mean I'm at my sexual peak and she's like a low 2 on the scale of 1-10. I want it everyday, but she only wants it once a week. It's frustrating. I've been thinking about leaving her for a while now. Would you leave your significant other because they have a low sex drive?

Depends...too many variables i.e., thyroid...

The Panthers OL needs to do much better for their offense to have better success. Cam has been rushed and sacked too much already in this half. I need them to beat these Donkeys  ;D

Yeah, I was hoping for that too...

I just thought it was kinda funnie.

Are you hmong girls just as possessive?

Depends...Like Hmong men, some Hmong women are, some aren't.

With that said, living with a control freak ain't much living regardless of gender...

Plated cost a bit more but I do like that they wrapped each dinner in a big bag so you don't have to sort it out. The insulator is also better. I also like how they pre-washed some of the vegetables as well as give you only what you need. With Blue Apron, when the dish calls for one clove of garlic, they send you a whole bulb of garlic. With Plated, when the dish calls for one clove of garlic, they send you one pre-peeled clove of garlic.

The end results (taste) is about the same so it's up to the individual to decide what's better. Both Blue Apron and Plated work for us... O0:
